History of GB NRG
Founded in 2010 by Jon Antoniou, the company’s CEO, GB NRG embarked on a mission to not only decrease carbon emissions but also create investment opportunities for businesses across the country.
Starting with residential systems in the very early days, GB NRG progressively moved into larger commercial-scale projects within a year. We no longer carry out residential installs.
Following adjustments to the feed-in-tariff, we put additional focus towards large-scale Solar Farms. The first completed solar farm in 2012, a 1MW project in Devon, set the precedent.
With the initial success in the ground mount sector, GB NRG secured four more multi MW contracts to construct solar farms nationwide, paving the way for more significant projects.
Over the years, we have successfully expanded our team and established our company as a highly regarded and dependable entity within the realm of the clean energy industry. We have energised hundreds of thousands of solar panels and helped hundreds of businesses to date.
